331 Conditions for Growth

“‘If You are willing, You can make me clean’… ‘I am willing, be clean’” (Mark 1:40,41).

Jesus is always willing to bring us into wholeness, body, soul and spirit. Surely that was the purpose of His sacrifice on our behalf. Yet often we ask but don’t see the change in our lives happening? Is it because of our small faith?

What can be smaller than a mustard seed (Luke 17:5,6)? Small faith is not a barrier. Faith mixed with fear may be .But all My dealings with you are governed by wisdom, infinite wisdom that cannot be wrong.

Would it be wise to change My children into an Apostle Paul at the snap of a finger? How would they cope without the years of experience he gained in proving Me through all the circumstances of his life? How would they have learnt to withstand the enemy?

Growth takes time. How much time depends on two things: the condition of the ground and the type of plant to be grown. The first is largely your responsibility, whether you are willing to walk on with Me even when you cannot see growth happening. As to the second, I alone know the destiny I have for your life and have the wisdom to bring that to fulfilment.

The life force in growth is very powerful. It can overcome many setbacks. Do not despair if it seems to be slow. I have it all in hand.
