304 The Spirit Knows No Boundaries

“I thank my God through Jesus Christ for all of you because your faith is being reported all over the world” (Romans 1:8)

Here is good news travelling around a world that knew nothing about motorised vehicles, computers, electricity, telephones etc. Good news that encouraged fellow believers wherever it went. I guess, when denominations did not separate Your people, verbal links could exist that carried good and bad news on and on.

We can communicate so easily today. It is hard to imagine what would happen to us if all these things were cut off. For many of us our fellow believers are not local; we travel distances to fellowship with those of like mind. Doctrinal differences and personal preferences have divided Your church up so that we often do not even know each other.

Am I hampered by such things? My Spirit knows no boundaries; He can go wherever hearts are open to Him. So can He not lead My children together without modern means? You would be surprised to know those who are Mine in your local area. No one is isolated in My great family. Remember Elijah – he became distressed and depressed thinking he was all alone yet there were many others in his day that stood for My truth (1 Kings 19:14,18).

As truly as I am with My covenant people Israel, I am always with you (Isaiah 49:15,16). My Spirit alone is well able to sustain you. Many of My children, isolated in prisons or remote regions, have proved that.
